Pump and Haul Services and Portable Toilet Rental Services
For
The Counties of Essex, King & Queen, King William, Mathews, Middlesex,
James City, and York and Cities of Hampton and Poquoson
On behalf of the member jurisdictions of the Virginia Peninsulas Public Service Authority (VPPSA), including the Counties of Essex, King and Queen, King William, Mathews, Middlesex, James City and York and the Cities of Hampton and Poquoson, sealed proposals for Pump and Haul Services will be received by the Executive Director, Virginia Peninsulas Public Service Authority (VPPSA), 475 McLaws Circle, Suite 3B, Williamsburg, Virginia 23185-5676 until 4:00 p.m. local prevailing time on September 3, 2024.
VPPSA requires Pump and Haul Services at 3 locations, one each in King William, Mathews and Middlesex Counties consisting of 1,000-gallon septic tanks at solid waste convenience sites.
VPPSA has three sites that have tanks that would be set up on an “on call” basis. Two are 1,000-gallon septic tanks located in Essex and King and Queen Counties and the third one is a 4,000-gallon wash water storage tank, located in King and Queen County.
VPPSA requires Portable Toilet Services for 10 sites that will receive monthly service in Essex, King and Queen and King William Counties. We require temporary service or one day event type service for 18 specific events throughout the year. 5 each events held in Hampton, James City and York. 1 held in Poquoson and 2 on the Middle Peninsula done on a rotating basis. Specific addresses provided where applicable with the bid documents.

Household Chemical Collection Services

On behalf of the member jurisdictions of the Virginia Peninsulas Public Service Authority (VPPSA), including the Counties of Essex, King and Queen, King William, Mathews, Middlesex, James City and York and the Cities of Hampton, Poquoson, and Williamsburg, sealed proposals for Household Chemical Collection Services will be received by the Executive Director, Virginia Peninsulas Public Service Authority (VPPSA), 475 McLaws Circle, Suite 3B, Williamsburg, Virginia 23185-5676 until 4:00 p.m. local prevailing time on October 31, 2024.
VPPSA intends to enter into a contract with a Service Provider to deliver Household Chemical Collection Services (household hazardous waste services) for member cities and counties of VPPSA at approximately 18 collection events per year.
VPPSA currently provides 16 Household Chemical Collection events in the Peninsula communities (the Counties of James City and York, and the Cities of Hampton, Poquoson, and Williamsburg) and 2 Household Chemical Collection events in the Middle Peninsula Communities (The Counties of Essex, King & Queen, King William, Mathews, and Middlesex).
